To install a retractable awning, first measure the overall width of the store. After taking the measurement, subtract 10 cm from the total dimension to leave an appropriate margin for installing the awning.
Next, use expansion screws to mark the installation positions—typically 10x10 expansion screws are used for installation. First, install the screws on one side, then carefully measure and adjust the tarpaulin’s dimensions before installing the expansion screws on the other side. This completes the installation measurements for the entire tarpaulin set.
The next step is to install the awning’s tubing and curved arms. When installing the curved arms, make sure to keep both sides balanced so that the extension and retraction can be smooth and effortless.
